Accommodations
Her main salon is upholstered with tan leather. The 14 foot beam and 6' 6" headroom provides comfortable accommodations whether cruising or living aboard. The spacious main salon sea-going galley two staterooms with ensuite heads are well laid out with plenty of room for family and friends to gather as well as spaces to get away from the crowd. Bulkheads are finished with hand rubbed teak veneer and the cabin sole is teak and holly. Hanging lockers cabinets and drawers as well as open counter space provide good and easily accessed storage. There are five opening hatches twelve opening ports with six fixed ports in the hull sides and large wrap around windows in the main salon/galley covered with custom draperies. Additional ventilation is provided by two vents in the cockpit coaming. All major ports and windows are fitted with pleated curtains or shades for privacy. Starting forward is the Guest Cabin with center line double v-berth. There is a cedar lined hanging locker to starboard with upholstered seat below. A writing desk/vanity with counter and bookshelf above is to starboard as is a second hanging locker. There are two LED reading lights and an overhead light. The large opening hatch has both a curtain and a removable insect screen. The adjacent Forepeak Head can be accessed from the guest cabin or from the main salon. Counters are Corian with inset sink with chrome fixtures and the toilet is a Jabsco Electric head. Above the counter is a mirror faced cabinet. There is a separate shower stall with teak slated seat and shower sump pump. An opening hatch in the head provides ventilation and light. The Main Salon is next aft and connected to the center cockpit via a five step companionway ladder. To port is a curved settee with table and centerline upholstered bench. When lowered the table/settee converts to a double berth. There are hanging lockers forward and aft of the settee with counters above and storage bins outboard. The TV/VCR system is above the forward hanging locker and a Barometer and clock are hung on the bulkhead. A straight settee is to starboard with additional storage bins outboard and cabinets above. A total of eight (8) teak trimmed custom florescent lights throughout. To port of the companionway is the Nav Station. The outboard facing nav table is top opening with an electrical panel above. There is a red/white nav table light. The chart table seat is hinged and rotates under the table when not in use. The passageway that leads aft from the nav station to the owners cabin has a hanging locker outboard with large counter above. Engine room access is on the inboard side of the passageway. The battery panel is aft of the engine room doors. There are three opening ports: one to the cockpit and two in the cabin sides. The Aft Cabin or Owners Stateroom is large airy and bright providing comfortable accommodations. The centerline queen berth has a settee to port with a desk/vanity forward. There is a bookshelf cabinet under the settee and bins outboard. To starboard of the berth is a large hanging locker and adjacent shelf locker. An additional drawer and cabinet are accessed from the foot of the bed. A large opening hatch and seven opening Lewmar ports deliver excellent ventilation. Together with two fixed hull ports they also provide great outside visibility. The ensuite head has a separate shower stall complete with sit-in tub. The Corian counter and sink are outboard with storage cabinet under the sink. Two mirrored cabinets are above the counter. The toilet is a Jabsco Electric marine toilet. There are two opening ports for light and ventilation.
Deck and Hull
The hull and deck are a combination balsa core/solid laminate designed by Hunter under the direction of Warren Luders. The hull is white with a light grey boot stripe and blue sheer stripes. The non-skid is molded into the deck and is contrasting light grey. Double lifelines with SS stanchions connect to SS pushpit and pulpit with midships and stern boarding gates. The double SS bow roller is forward of the pushpit and the windlass is recessed into the bow locker. Wash-down pumpis located in the bow locker. Side decks are wide with an aluminum toe rail and six aluminum mooring cleats. The large center cockpit protected by a canvas dodger has Edson pedestal steering with navigation pod for instruments. An Edson Starboard cockpit table and drink holder are attached to the SS nav pod legs. A SS arch accommodates main traveler antennas cockpit and deck lights and stereo speakers. 30 amp service cable inlet and dockside water are located under the starboard step into the cockpit. Aft of the cockpit is a large raised deck platform which steps down to the aft deck. There are aft deck lazarettes to port and starboard and a third lazarette under the lower transom step. Thepropane cylinderand spare arelocated in the custom starboard box and also houses the controls for the custom dingy davit system. The scoop transom has integral steps SS bathing ladder with teak treads and hot/cold transom shower compartment. There are five opening hatches twelve opening ports with six fixed ports in the hull sides and large wrap around windows in the main salon/galley. There are large opening hatches in each stateroom. Ventilation is provided by two vents in the cockpit coaming. Galley
The U-shaped galley is aft of the main salon and to starboard of the companionway. All counters are Corian. The SS double sink is on centerline with Adler Barbour Cold Machine refrigerator/freezer compartments aft and a three burnerpropane stove/oven outboard. The refrigerator is both top and front loading and the freezer is top loading. A Panasonic microwave oven is built into a corner cabinet and there is an exhaust fan in the overhead. Under counter storage is available in three drawers and cabinets with overhead cabinets above the freezer/refrigerator and outboard.
